Inspired architecture Sustainability as a design principle
A dynamic urban space with a high quality of living is created with a lively place, free of traffic and versatile in use. The future
effective decision to create a high-quality urban space with a central character and lots of green space, requires an under-ground
traffic solution. A contemporary offer of mobility for all future users is Basic condition for a successful image of the global project
and will position itself as a showpiece project for the city of Linz and Upper Austria.
Made for the future
The design of the Wing Tower focuses on all principles of a sustainable ecological design at different levels. The distribution and
arrangement of the volumes took into consideration the local climatic conditions. The combination of windbreak, flow of fresh
winds and direct sunlight offers the ideal conditions.
By the execution of „energy slot walls“ a considerable optimization of the operating costs and reduction of the CO2 emission
becomes possible. The core and the devel-opment of the entire tower are naturally ventilated all year round and therefore do not
require any energy for heating or cooling.
